For governments, mobile services facilitate four main steps along the digitalization journey: access, registration and authentication, payments, and public service delivery and communication. This pilot project according to the Partnership Agreement will be extended to other cities, township across Liberia, focuses on the payments step and the digitalization of person-to-local-government (P2LG) payments using mobile money, highlighting its benefits for governments, citizens, businesses and the wider economy.
